Hello: I came across your site via a search for 18th century Union Street, Newcastle.
You list a picture: “Mrs Humble’s” drawing. You quote: Vol 2 – No 15 – May, 1888 – A Bit of Old Newcastle.
Could you tell me please, which publication this image comes from?

Your article on the Bigg Market refers to a Dr Bruce – could you let me know more about this source of information – I am looking for anything on the Old Poultry/Pullen Market at High Bridge (demolished in 1827 to make way for Grainger Market) (I have read MacKenzie) but was wondering who Dr Bruce was and what he wrote.
